Presentation Timing

Know how long your presentation runs, slide by slide.

A word counter tells you how long a script is. It cannot tell you which part of your talk runs long. ScriptAssist estimates your presentation from the speaker notes already in your PowerPoint deck, so you see the time for every slide and section, a running total, and where you are likely to run long before you present.

Presentation Timing FAQ

How does ScriptAssist estimate presentation time?

It reads the speaker notes on each slide, counts the words, and estimates speaking time at your chosen pace. It shows the estimate for every slide, subtotals for each section, and a running total for the whole deck.

Can I rehearse against a target time?

Yes. Enter a target length and the slides and sections most likely to push you over are highlighted, so you can quickly see where to trim before you present.

Is Presentation Timing included in my plan?

Yes. Presentation Timing is part of every ScriptAssist plan, Standard and Pro, and the 7-day free trial includes it.

Does it change my slides or my notes?

No. Presentation Timing only reads your speaker notes to estimate timing. It never edits your slides or your notes.
